Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons to students at various levels
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student participation
* Foster a passion for Chemistry by utilizing innovative teaching methods and resources
* Facilitate practical experiments and demonstrations to deepen students' understanding of chemical principles
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support for academic growth
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and align curriculum plans and assessments
* Provide guidance and support to students, fostering their personal and academic development
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Chemistry curriculum
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Prior experience teaching Chemistry, preferably in a secondary school setting
* Passionate about Chemistry and dedicated to inspiring students
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
* Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices
