Responsibilities
* Lead and manage multiple audit engagements across various industries.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
* Portfolio of £400k+ with a mixture of OMB, Charities, NFP, Solicitors plus Large Commercial clients.
* Review and prepare detailed audit reports with actionable insights.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members in their professional development.
* Communicate effectively with clients, addressing queries and providing advice.
* Collaborate with internal teams to improve audit processes and efficiency.
* Identify and address risks to ensure client objectives are met effectively.
* Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications / Profile
* Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
* Strong experience in audit processes within the accounting and finance field.
* Proficiency in audit software and relevant IT systems.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in managing and leading teams effectively.
* Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
