Overview
GAP Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering and sewerage pump applications. This includes a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.
Role: General Manager at GAP Group responsible for developing and managing the depot team to drive performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue across new and existing customers. Quality and customer satisfaction are key drivers; ensure customers\' expectations are met through quality audits and customer visits. The General Manager will manage their own Profit Centre and influence all aspects of Depot Operations – from staff recruitment and development to purchasing equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage the depot team to drive performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue across new and existing customers.
* Ensure quality audits and customer visits to meet customer expectations and needs.
* Manage their own Profit Centre and influence all aspects of Depot Operations – from staff recruitment and development to purchasing equipment and supplies.
About You
* Significant experience within a team leader/management role, preferably in Pumps, Power or hire industry.
* Understanding of Pump or Power equipment, hire products and the customer base within the Lincoln area is highly beneficial.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop a high-performing team who can deliver results and exceed customer expectations.
* Previous experience and accountability for the profit and loss of business operations and a keen eye for business development opportunities.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and provide solutions for potential challenges in the workplace.
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
* Full UK Driving License.
