VNI Finance is delighted to be working exclusively on behalf of a high-growth international technology business to appoint a Group Accountant to their expanding finance team.
The business operates globally across the UK, Europe, APAC and North America and offers a modern, flexible and collaborative working environment.

Role Overview
* Ownership of the financial records across Group entities
* Ensure Group accounting policies remain compliant with relevant GAAP standards
* Preparation and review of monthly P&L, balance sheet, consolidation and cash flow reconciliations to audit-ready standard
* Deliver detailed monthly analysis of actuals versus budget with clear commentary around key variances
* Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes
* Business partner with stakeholders across the organisation, supporting operational and commercial decision making
* Preparation of monthly consolidated financial reporting packs for senior finance leadership
* Ownership of payroll across the Group, coordinating with local advisors to ensure accurate and timely processing
* Lead the fieldwork and financial preparation elements of the annual Group audit process
* Preparation and coordination of statutory accounts and annual reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
* Prepare and submit VAT, corporate tax and other statutory filings, while liaising with overseas advisors where required
* Drive finance best practice, process improvements and continuous enhancement initiatives
* Support the Financial Controller and wider finance leadership team with ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives
Candidate Background
* Fully qualified accountant (ICAS / ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous experience within a broad finance role covering reporting, reconciliations and month-end close
* Strong systems capability — Xero experience advantageous but not essential
* Comfortable analysing and reconciling large, complex and multi-currency data sets
* Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful insight
* Strong organisational and time management skills within deadline-driven environments
* Naturally inquisitive with strong problem-solving capability
* Collaborative and hands-on approach with willingness to support across multiple areas
* Previous international or multi-entity exposure beneficial
