L ike our locations and warm hospitality, we are also really proud to serve fantastic food from breakfast through till supper, inside and out. Whether it’s bustling mornings, family lunches, take away fish and chips, candlelit dinners, beach themed afternoon tea, or outdoor pizzas, we are busy all day every day. Always on the go, as a key part of one of our bustling kitchens, this role is fast paced with a high output required. All our modern electric and highly organised kitchens allow our team to deliver an impressive plated and takeaway service, made to specification, throughout the day and several evenings a week. Although, not the most glamorous of positions, the Kitchen Porter role is a vital component of our smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Key Responsibilities and tasks: Washing up. Loading and unloading the dish washer. Putting kitchen items away. Making note and disposing of breakages. Basic food preparation. Taking the bins out. Cleaning kitchen and equipment, and constantly maintaining the highest hygiene standards. Assisting with all other areas and duties where appropriate. Experience, knowledge and skills required: Previous experience in a kitchen environment. Fast and efficient worker. Good communicator. Copes well under pressure. Organised. Personal Qualities Hardworking and motivated with a positive attitude. Punctual team player. Passionate about food and drink. Excited to learn and be part of an award-winning team.
