About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Staffordshire. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly forecasts and timely valuations of work completed on site.
* Submission of applications for payment in accordance with company protocol.
* Building strong working relationships with project stakeholders.
* Leading the subcontract procurement process and nurturing relationships with subcontractors.
* Attending regular project meetings.
* Processing subcontract payments and managing subcontractor accounts.
* Assisting with the production of CVRs and monthly profit and loss reporting.
* Liaising with site teams to resolve site-based commercial issues.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Previous experience in a Graduate/Trainee/Junior Quantity Surveyor role within the Civil Engineering industry.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification (HNC/HND).
* Sound knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
