Overview
As a Care Home Manager at Broadoak Manor you’ll value kindness above all. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. In this role you will take responsibility for the well‑being of our Residents, lead, motivate and mentor your team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the care home. You will develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans and monitor work areas to keep them safe and compliant with standards, policies and legislation. You will promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the well‑being of residents, ensuring their emotional and social needs are met.
* Lead, motivate and mentor the team to ensure smooth and efficient running of the care home.
* Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident.
* Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies and legislation.
* Promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of care.
* Carry out quality assurance monitoring and drive continuous improvement.
* Establish a vision and development plan, championing resident wellbeing.
Qualifications
* Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience conducting risk assessments.
* Excellent safeguarding awareness and training.
* Considerable kindness and empathy in communication with residents and co‑workers.
