About The Role
We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our enthusiastic team on a one-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, working 37.5 hours per week.

Essential skills and responsibilities:
1. To clean specific areas in line with Company policy and national cleaning standards.
2. To provide a cleaning service in accordance with approved methods, standards, and frequencies.
3. To use cleaning equipment, machinery, and materials as directed.
4. To work in accordance with assigned daily tasks and activities.
5. To be aware of physical surroundings and comply with health and safety guidelines and legislation.
6. Ensure that any accidents, machinery defects, or building issues are reported promptly to the Head of Housekeeping or senior manager, following Company policy.
7. To treat patients and service users with dignity and respect, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
8. Ensure premises are locked and secured after duties where appropriate.
9. Participate in audits as directed by the Head of Housekeeping.
10. Maintain a professional appearance and wear appropriate footwear.
11. Ensure compliance with mandatory training and attend relevant courses as directed.

About Us
Baldock Manor is a 40-bed hospital in north Hertfordshire providing specialist psychiatric services for adults. The hospital features two female PICU (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit) wards and two acute wards. Our PICU services support women at crisis levels with severe mental disorders requiring rapid assessment and stabilization. Our acute wards care for older adults, typically 55 years or older, for short-term stays averaging less than forty days, aiming to stabilize their mental health.
