Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to provide strong financial leadership and take ownership of the entire finance function. Key Responsibilities
* Preparing monthly management accounts, consolidated reports, and financial statements
* Delivering accurate project-level profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasts, and margin reporting
* Managing annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
* Overseeing project cost tracking, revenue recognition, and forecasting
* Partnering with project teams to review financial performance and identify risks and opportunities
* Supporting tender processes through pricing models and financial risk assessments
* Acting as company secretary and compliance officer
* Maintaining strong internal controls across all finance processes
* Managing statutory audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
* Monitoring and managing project-level cash flow and working capital
* Leading, developing, and mentoring the finance function
* Building collaborative relationships across all departments
Key Requirements
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a project-based or contract-based business
* Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end project accounting and financial control
* Experience leading finance teams and influencing senior stakeholders
* Strong technical accounting knowledge with relevant standards
* Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems
* Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
* Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to work under pressure
