We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to support an offshore Array Cable Project on a long-term contractual basis starting in June/July. The role involves operating and maintaining specialist cable installation and handling equipment, working closely with the vessel and offshore teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate array cable installation and handling equipment in line with project procedures
* Perform pre-use checks, routine maintenance, and first-line troubleshooting
* Support cable lay, pull-in, landing, and cable protection activities
* Adhere strictly to HSEQ standards and promote a strong safety culture
* Coordinate with deck crew, supervisors, and project representatives
* Complete operational logs, checklists, and reports as required
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Equipment Operator on offshore cable installation projects
* Previous array cable project experience is essential
* Valid GWOs
* Valid offshore medical
* Strong commitment to safe working practices
* Happy to work within 12 nautical miles of the UK
* Available to commit to a 4/4 rotation over an 8–10 month contract starting in June/July
