Description
There is a unique opportunity to work for a FTSE 250 company within a dynamic property team managing a national portfolio. The individual will support various functions within the department, gaining exposure to live issues with the potential to influence property strategy. This role also offers the chance to obtain professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
* Provide appropriate support and guidance for all responsibilities, with guidance from the Property team as needed.
* Act as a point of contact for operational teams to resolve property estate matters.
* Collaborate with the Asset Management team to maximize property potential and reduce occupational costs.
* Support management of tenancy income and contribute to tenant portfolio strategy.
* Assist in valuation work, including analyzing asset valuations, appraising rental values, and conducting development appraisals for new stores.
* Support the Acquisition team with site inspections and due diligence for new sites.
* Coordinate with professional advisors such as lawyers, lease advisors, and valuers.
Experience and Skills Required
* Ideally hold a property-related accredited degree.
* Opportunity to become a Chartered Surveyor (funded by employer).
* Relevant work experience in property.
* Ability to understand business needs and balance commercial considerations with risks.
* Strong engagement skills with all levels of employees and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of European languages is welcomed and may support business expansion in those markets.
