About the Role
In your role as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes.
As an Activities Co‑ordinator it will mean planning and implementing activities that delight residents, helping the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events, and engaging the care‑home team. You will support residents to socialise more effectively, develop new activity ideas based on their hobbies and always act with kindness.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement activities that delight residents.
* Assist the Home Manager in organising fundraising events.
* Help residents to socialise more effectively and develop new activity ideas based on their hobbies.
* Engage the care‑home team in activity planning.
* Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and take appropriate action.
* Comply with safeguarding training and reporting procedures, escalating concerns when needed.
Qualifications
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
* Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills with effective time‑management.
* Positive, kind and communicative manner, able to get along with a diverse range of people.
