Education Penalty Notice Officer Initial 3-month contract | 36 hours per week | £26 (Umbrella) per hour (£19 PAYE an hour) About the Role Brent Council is seeking an organised, proactive, and knowledgeable Education Penalty Notice Officer to join the Education Welfare Service (EWS) on an initial three-month assignment. This role plays a key part in ensuring the effective and lawful administration of Education Penalty Notices (EPNs), supporting both operational practice and statutory responsibilities within the borough. You will work closely with Education Welfare Officers, Finance teams, schools, and families to ensure penalties are issued correctly, payments are processed efficiently, and customer experience remains high. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial system experience—particularly Oracle Finance—and a detailed understanding of attendance legislation.
