LRA Retinue is hiring a senior Architect or Technician to work on large scale technical projects for leading Tier One Contractors across London and the South East.

If you have strong design and technical skills, a proven track record of completed projects, and a desire to work beyond traditional architectural boundaries we'd love to hear from you.

You will join our growing team in our Brighton, with the potential to also develop and grow our new office space in London (Tanner Street).

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a key member of the technical division of our growing practice, working on a range of diverse projects. Our work is varied, our ethos is ambitious and key to everything we do : to deliver a better, more sustainable future, creating wonderful buildings and spaces.

Our growing and ambitious practice is based in Brighton and now has a new space in Tanner Street in London. We work throughout the UK and internationally. Projects span a range of industry sectors; from bespoke private homes to residential development, education & arts, leisure & hospitality, civic, mixed-use & commercial (including retail), master-planning, listed buildings and restoration.

The studio is friendly, open and approachable with a team of dedicated architects, technicians and designers with high professional standards.

Qualities:

* You are ambitious, committed to sustainability and dedicated to delivering a better, more sustainable future through ingenuity and design.

* You are a friendly, confident, hardworking and collaborative individual who is able to work individually and as part of a team.
* You are able to meet deadlines and manage your own workload, often navigating multiple work streams by prioritising effectively.
* You can support junior members within the team, and be proactive in improving systems and processes where necessary.

Skills:

* Experience: You are proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software, with at least 8 years professional experience. You have a strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical drawings. You have a track record of fostering strong, productive relationships with clients and other stakeholders. Ideally you can evidence working on projects at every stage, including contract administration. You have knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods.
* Creativity: Your portfolio and application demonstrates examples of technical detailing and creative concepts. You are able to produce outstanding 3D visualisations and ideally also communicate your ideas with hand drawn sketches or hand crafted models.
* Communication: You have excellent communication skills and are not afraid to speak up. You have excellent command of the English language, allowing you to build a rapport with clients, colleagues and members of the wider team. You can assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
* Software: You are proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software, able to create detailed technical drawings and collaborate with others to develop and modify designs. You can ensure accuracy of drawings, including dimensions materials and specifications. You are able to maintain organised files and documentation.

We have a modern studio setting in Brighton which is friendly and welcoming. We wear casual attire: shoes off, coffee on. As a team we enjoy regular and varied social events. We will consider part and full time roles, as well as flexible and hybrid working hours for the right candidate.
