Job Description
* Supervise the electrical department's daily operations within the manufacturing environment.
* Ensure all electrical equipment is maintained to an appropriate standard.
* Lead and develop a team of skilled electrical shift technicians (circa 7 heads), promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
* Oversee project planning and management for electrical upgrades and installations.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall organisational objectives.
* Adhere to safety and compliance standards, and ensure team compliance.
* Support the development of operational budgets within the electrical department.
* Manage contractor relationships and oversee outsourced electrical work.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Team Leader should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
* Experience in a leadership role within an industrial manufacturing setting.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
