Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate data entry and processing of accounts payable. Duties
* Manage and process accounts payable transactions efficiently using recognised accounting software.
* Perform precise data entry related to invoices, payments, and financial records.
* Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across financial system Sage.
* Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare relevant reports.
* Support the finance team with general administrative tasks related to financial documentation.
* Maintain organised records of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
* Update and maintain supplier information.
* Support the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
* Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, and statutory payments
Requirements
* Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial documentation standards.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Ability to work independently whilst maintaining excellent communication within a team environment.
