Business Development Executive
Location: Tamworth (Office-based with field sales)
Salary: £30,000 basic + uncapped OTE of approx £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

An established and growing business is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive new business growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a target-driven B2B sales professional with strong new business development experience, who also enjoys developing and growing existing client relationships.
The role offers a mix of office-based sales activity and field-based client meetings, supported by modern CRM systems and nationwide fulfilment capabilities. With ambitious growth plans in place, this position offers genuine long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, client visits, and digital outreach (e.g. LinkedIn)

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximise retention and repeat business
*
Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations
*
Close sales and successfully onboard new clients
*
Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM systems
*
Analyse sales data to identify growth and upselling opportunities
*
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets
*
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets to maximise commission
*
Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Skills & Experience Required
*
Proven experience in B2B business development and cold calling
*
Demonstrable ability to generate and convert new business
*
Background in workwear, clothing, or product-based sales is advantageous
*
Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills
*
Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
