People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our well-established client based in Openshaw / M11 on a temp to perm basis.

Shifts
* Monday – Friday 9:00 - 17:00
* 37.5 hours paid per week.
* 30minutes unpaid break, 2x 15 mins paid break.
Pay
* £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Customer Service Representative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Handle customer enquiries, providing detailed information on products and services.
* Proactively upsell products and services to maximise sales opportunities.
* Manage sales enquiries via telephone and email in a timely and professional manner.
* Identify and target potential customers through outbound calls and email campaigns to generate new business.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and support advertising campaigns.
* Schedule appointments for Business Development Managers with prospective clients.
* Build strong customer relationships by understanding needs, processing orders, and handling payments efficiently.
* Deliver excellent customer service while achieving sales targets through outbound calling.
* Support additional customer-related tasks as required by the business.
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Customer Service Representative, you will need:
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in handling customer enquiries and sales conversations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems for data entry, reporting, and order processing
* Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems (e.g. Unleashed WMS) is highly desirable
* Proven ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues
* Target-driven with a proactive approach to generating sales and new business opportunities
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
* High level of attention to detail, particularly when processing orders and payments
* Positive, enthusiastic, and approachable personality with strong team-working skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
