Learning Support Assistant

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Salary: £90 to £115 per day, paid weekly through PAYE

We’re supporting a welcoming secondary school in Northumberland that prides itself on providing a calm, respectful and nurturing environment for every young person who walks through its doors. They’re looking for a caring and confident Learning Support Assistant to join their team and help pupils feel seen, supported, and ready to learn each day.
What you’ll be doing
* Working with pupils who need a little extra support, in and out of the classroom
* Helping students build confidence, routines, and independence
* Supporting teaching staff with behaviour, engagement, and learning activities
* Creating a safe, positive space where every student feels valued
* Working closely with the SEND and pastoral teams to ensure pupils get the right support at the right time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
