Maintenance Engineer - Scotland & North East

A versatile Maintenance Engineer will provide planned and reactive assistance to H&T's property estate for general maintenance work and to carry out mini-refits. To work mainly within Scotland and the North East, although travel to other parts of the country may be required, with the occasional overnight stay. The role is to be during normal working hours, although out-of-hours call outs will be necessary from time to time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
General maintenance
Joinery
Basic plumbing
Tiling
Minor electrical works (re-lamping etc.)
Emergency response
Larger property projects such as refits, setting up new stores etc.
Assistance to external contractors i.e. shutter contractors.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum 5 years experience within a Maintenance or Shopfitting role.
UK Full Driving License
Basic IT skills.
Basic understanding of H&S within the workplace
Due to the requirements of our vehicle insurance policy, applicants must be aged 25 or over. Any endorsements or penalty points (6 or more) on your license will be disclosed to our insurer and may impact your eligibility to drive a company vehicle.
