About the Company:
This role is working for Tolley Limited, which is part of the G&L Group. Tolley is a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) consultancy that supports clients with the generation of evidence to prepare the value case for UK HTA submissions, with a particular focus on rare disease and oncology treatments. We partner with pharmaceutical companies to provide bespoke, decision-focussed advice and materials, with the aim of increasing the chances of a positive outcome, and therefore expedited patient access to new therapies.
Summary of the role:
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team of HTA consultants. The role will involve preparation of materials for UK HTA submissions, such as systematic literature reviews, HTA dossiers, slide decks, and technical reports, as well as providing strategic advice to clients to guide them through the HTA appraisal process. The role will also involve line management of HTA Consultants and/ or Senior HTA Consultants within the Tolley team.
The ideal candidate will have at least a Master's degree in medical sciences, 5+ years of experience in a similar role, excellent written and oral communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team on a range of deliverables concurrently.
Responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing strategic advice to guide clients throughout UK HTA processes to give the best chance of a positive outcome
* Production of high-quality materials across a range of HEOR/ HTA projects
* Writing and reviewing HTA submissions to UK HTA bodies across a variety of therapeutic areas, whilst adhering to HTA guidance templates and meeting project deadlines
* Involvement in designing and executing evidence generation and assimilation workstreams including, but not limited to: systematic literature reviews, Evidence
* Needs Assessments, Gap Analyses, HTA precedent reviews, multi-stakeholder panels, and patient/ caregiver interviews
* Analysis and communication of data in the form of manuscripts, written reports, and oral presentations to a range of audiences including clients, HTA bodies, and patient experts
* Line management of HTA Consultants and/ or Senior HTA Consultants within the Tolley team
* Time management and working across multiple projects and/ or project teams simultaneously
* Working collaboratively with the internal team and external personnel to ensure all data and information are reported accurately
* Keeping abreast of new developments within relevant therapeutic areas and within the wider HTA and market access field, to provide clients with up-to-date knowledge and relevant strategic advice
* Actively supporting with business development and in detailing proposals to bid for future projects
Requirements:
* A post-graduate degree in medical sciences and experience in communication of medical-based research in the form of written reports and oral presentations
* Outstanding communication skills with keen attention to detail and excellent research skills
* At least five years of previous experience gained in an HEOR/ HTA consultancy, and/ or working with or within pharmaceutical companies, specifically in the area of HTA, or an HTA organisation
* A working knowledge of Office 365, EndNote X9 version onwards, or an alternate reference manager, and Covidence or an alternate tool for performing SLRs
* Previous experience of presenting at conferences, advisory boards, workshops, and a record of publications of abstracts/ posters and manuscripts.
* Experience of line management is desirable
