Locum Consultant Radiologist
Fixed Term, 2 Years
Full Time – 10 PA per week (Part‑time considered). Home working may be available. No on‑call commitment; out‑of‑hours CT provided by teleradiology.
Location
Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, NHS Highland.
Role Overview
The role supports the general radiology needs of the department. Specialist activities across NHS Highland are provided, and specialist interests are encouraged. Preferred interests include MSK, Breast, cardiothoracic and paediatric imaging, but other specialisms will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out diagnostic radiology examinations in accordance with national standards.
* Provide specialist imaging expertise to support NHS Highland services.
* Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and surgical colleagues.
* Adhere to protocols for out‑of‑hours CT and teleradiology arrangements.
* Participate in departmental meetings and audit activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered on the General Medical Council Specialist Register with a Licence to Practice.
* Clinical experience as a consultant radiologist, preferably in the specialities listed above.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relocation & Support
