The role
As a Nurse, you will work as part of a team to provide the best care for the people living in our homes and be a part of the next chapter in their story.
You will get to know them and what matters the most to them so you can support them in the best way possible, recognising their individual choice.
You will lead and co-ordinate the care and support team working within the home whilst running the shift; mentoring, supporting and managing the team to provide the very best person-centred care.
You will be responsible working with the team for the safety and wellbeing of the people living, working and visiting the home.
With the help of the team in the home, you will be committed to ensuring the delivery of quality care; assess, plan and implement clinical care; administer medication and treatments; champion wellbeing including physical, emotional and social needs, ensure a person-centred care planning process, maintain CQC compliance, best practice and safeguarding standards and update and maintain automated care plans and medication charts (Person Centred Software and eMAR)
You will support people with daily living routines including personal care, offer emotional support, encourage social activities within the home and update electronic care plans and risk assessments (from pre-admission onwards) and ever-changing needs of individuals.
Every day is different and hard work is required, but each day, you will go home knowing you have made a difference to their lives.

What you’ll need
* Valid NMC registration with a current NMC Pin
* Ideally 12 months post registration experience, competent in all basic RN procedures
* To demonstrate knowledge of person-centred care, CQC care practices, nursing theory and best practice
* A caring, kind and genuine passion to deliver exceptional standard of care for people with a professional approach
* Leadership experience to engage and support our team
* To possess excellent communication skills to enable concise meaningful and compassionate communication with colleagues, customers and their families
* A flexible, collaborative ‘can do’ approach with strong work ethics, able to work cohesively with a multi-disciplined team and engage with new ideas
