We are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Quality Engineer to work closely with Production and Engineering teams, ensuring all products and processes conform to defined quality standards. This role plays a key part in embedding PFMEA requirements through Control Plans and standard work, supporting successful programme delivery from project launch through to serial production within a manufacturing environment. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for: Delivering all quality deliverables at each programme gateway on time and to the required standard. Embedding a strong quality mindset across project and manufacturing teams. Leading problem‑solving activities, including 8Ds, and driving corrective and preventative actions. Leading and supporting internal and external audits (IATF, ISO, customer and supplier) Producing and maintaining PPAP documentation, IMDS submissions and REACH compliance. Identifying, escalating and recovering potential quality risks with clear action plans. The Quality Engineer will have: A solid background in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environments. Strong working knowledge of Quality Systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrable experience with APQP, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA and Poka‑Yoke. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. Experience supporting new project introduction and cross‑functional teams. The ability to influence stakeholders, prioritise workload and work effectively on own initiative.
