About the Role
Nominates Recruitment is partnering with a successful organisation in Ballyclare to expand their Accounts function. We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Main Responsibilities
1. Manage Accounts Payable process: process supplier invoices, compile monthly supplier payment runs, reconcile supplier statements, etc.
2. Process interdepartmental invoices and allocate them to cost centres.
3. Analyse and prepare employee expenses.
4. Compile monthly KPIs to support decision making.
5. Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
6. Maintain Fixed Asset Register.
7. Prepare and submit VAT returns.
8. Meet month-end deadlines.
Candidate Profile
Be part-qualified or qualified (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent). Candidates who are not yet part-qualified will also be considered.
Have previous experience in key duties such as managing accounts payable, preparing management accounts, stock reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations (experience in these areas is highly desirable but not essential).
Possess excellent IT skills, especially advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
