The Opportunity
We are seeking an engineer/design lead to join our dynamic and innovative building engineering team, where you will play a key role in delivering our clients’ requirements. Based in the Midlands, our Building Engineering group is experiencing significant growth as it secures major projects in the industrial and property sectors.
As a technical leader, you will maintain and develop relationships with clients, your team, and the wider Arup community. You will have the opportunity to utilize the latest digital tools from Microsoft and Autodesk to support project delivery. When current tools don’t meet your needs, you can collaborate with our software developers to create new digital solutions that enhance our design processes or deliver services in innovative ways, including integration with our smart building designs.

Is this role right for you?
We are looking for individuals who:
* Value quality and enjoy delivering technically excellent electrical designs in the built environment.
* Have solid experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
* Have experience in managing and delivering designs using BIM and various calculation software packages.
* Can collaborate effectively with internal and external project teams using clear communication methods.
* Prioritize the bigger picture when developing design solutions for the benefit of the project.
