What You’ll Be Doing:
* Shaping and delivering the overall environment and release strategy across a complex technology landscape.
* Planning, configuring and maintaining test environments, ensuring reliability and consistency.
* Building dashboards to monitor environment health, performance, and software versions.
* Managing deployment risks, issues, and cross-platform dependencies.
* Implementing governance for access and security across environments.
* Driving the move towards greater automation and Continuous Integration (CI).
* Supporting QA and development teams in troubleshooting release and environment issues.
* Producing environment roadmaps and coordinating availability with stakeholders.
* Scheduling downtime with minimal disruption to ongoing testing.
Main Skills Needed:
* Proven background in environment and release management, covering both on-premise and cloud strategies.
* Strong technical knowledge across Java, APIs, web services, and service virtualisation.
* Hands‑on experience with Linux, AIX, Windows, and AWS.
* Skilled with databases including SQL, DB2, Oracle, and MySQL.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code branching, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Subversion.
* Solid understanding of IT security principles and APM tools.
* Comfortable working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
