About the Job:
We are seeking a Data Engineer experienced in large data projects, focusing on data transformation, ingestion, and validation from multiple sources. The role involves working with AWS, MySQL, and other platforms, collaborating with SMEs, product owners, architects, and developers. Excellent communication and planning skills are essential, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
About You:
You should have a background in complex data transformation or project initiation, with a desire to work on critical, fast-moving projects and contribute to design decisions. Proven project delivery and data validation experience are advantageous.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proficiency in database systems such as Amazon Aurora MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, DynamoDB, etc.
* Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
* Performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines.
* Implementing data monitoring solutions.
* Developing scripts and automation tools.
* Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
* Familiarity with AWS services: DMS, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Redshift, Glue, EventBridge.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
* Experience in large-scale data environments and data warehousing.
* Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude, and curiosity about data.
* Experience working with product management, architects, and stakeholders.
* Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Teams, Microsoft Office, Trello.
