An exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Care Home Manager to take the lead of a small, nurturing residential service supporting individuals with learning disabilities. The Role
You will hold full operational responsibility for the home, driving quality, compliance, and compassionate leadership. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will build a strong team culture while ensuring exceptional care outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong, values-led leadership to a small care team, fostering a positive and supportive working environment
* Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs and aspirations
* Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding standards, and internal policies
* Lead on care planning, risk assessments, and regular review processes
* Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training, and ongoing development of the team
* Oversee budgets and resources effectively, ensuring sustainability and quality of service
* Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
* Drive continuous improvement, embedding best practice and raising standards across the home
* Champion dignity, independence, and choice for every individual supported
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager within a learning disabilities setting
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
* A compassionate, hands‑on leader who leads by example
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
* Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
