This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable). Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons in line with the national curriculum Teach across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed; KS5 desirable) Plan, prepare, and assess student work effectively Encourage scientific thinking, enquiry, and problem-solving skills Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life Essential Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK A degree in Science or a related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or combined sciences) Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level Strong subject knowledge and a passion for STEM education Excellent classroom management skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing Desirable Skills & Experience Experience teaching GCSE Science with strong outcomes Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics KS5 (A-Level) teaching experience Familiarity with current exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) Track record of supporting student progress and raising attainment Why Apply?
