Database Administrator
Listers Group is currently recruiting for a Trainee Database Administrator to be based at our Head Office in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, reporting to the Database Supervisor. Basic salary up to £27,000 plus benefits.
Role and Responsibilities
* Improve the quality of key data relating to customer contact, adhering to all the Company’s legal obligations.
* Assess database on an ongoing basis, looking for duplicates, errors, and omissions.
* Use third‑party websites along with our dealer management system database to highlight and/or correct issues.
* Handle database queries from staff.
* Ensure data remains consistent across our various databases.
* Regularly run database reports and investigate issues with users.
* Work with the Systems Team to identify database training requirements and ensure that relevant training is put in place.
Skill/Experience Required
* Excellent communicator, computer literate and have outstanding administrative skills with a key focus on attention to detail.
* Highly organised and able to work on own or as part of a team.
* Analytical mindset and good problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to manage/prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
* A well‑presented individual with a desire and attitude to succeed.
* Previous experience in an administrative role.
* Full training will be provided, but knowledge of Microsoft Office is advantageous.
