Project Coordinators are responsible for coordinating and supporting various project activities, across subsea and (very occasionally) other product lines and will, from time to time, also provide support to Sales, Group Engineering and / or Operating Regions, for certain project activities. Project Coordinators will also assist in the free flow of information between departments and actively participate, as a member of the project team, in improving departmental efficiency, reducing costs, sharing customer experiences and assisting in improving the quality of the end product and serviceKey Activities And Accountabilities Coordination of the controls on project activities, utilising recognised project control techniques Clear, constructive and positive communication with other departments, including Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Stores and Workshop, ensuring that projects are completed effectively and with minimal disruption to planned events Assist the Project Manager in the gathering of information for, and the compilation of, AFE’s as required Co-ordinate and process material requisitions through SAP, liaising with GSC Management as required through the procurement process, raising such internal paperwork as required for purchase, transfer or movement of project materials Assist the Planner with the maintenance of the project schedule, and advise Project Manager of any changes affecting the delivery schedule Liaise with Planner to ensure that Planner has the updated schedule information referenced above Set up and maintain project files and records Compile and maintain the project Material Tracking Register (MTR), regularly updating cost and schedule data to ensure timely delivery of materials and services Co-ordinate and progress other project activities / tasks, as required, to ensure the timely collation of asset numbers, compilation of shipping documents and co-ordination of these through GSC Logistics and project close-out activities Provide support as and when necessary to other SSPL Departments Assist in the development of cost saving initiatives and delivery process improvements Develop and maintain customer relationships, ensuring a high quality and professional service is provided and promoted Work in a safe, responsible and cost effective manner, in full compliance with Expro’s Safety and Quality Management Systems, developing own QA and HSE awareness while doing so Job Knowledge And QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Office( Excel, Powerpoint and WordWhy Expro?People are the most important.
