Our client, who is a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is collaborating with Guidant Global to find a skilled Mechanical Fitter in Bolton with significant experience in mechanical fitting for carrying out manufacturing and testing tasks within the mechanical department.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will operate according to established product certification procedures, workmanship standards, allocated budgets, and timelines to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Certify the product in line with the product certification procedure and maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
2. Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
3. Ensure manufacturing build times are met.
4. Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
5. Maintain the highest-level workmanship standards and product quality.
6. Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
