Key Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operate the forklift to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
* Exercise precision and care to prevent damage to products.
* Assist in the seamless movement of stock across various locations in the warehouse, including placing goods onto racking and retrieving them as needed.
* While primarily operating the forklift, you may occasionally assist in general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, conduct regular equipment checks, and report issues promptly.
* Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain an efficient workflow, emphasizing communication and teamwork to meet daily objectives.
Requirements
* A valid, accredited forklift license is essential.
* Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse setting is required.
* Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy loads safely.
* Ensure accuracy in all tasks, from stock handling to order preparation.
* Good verbal and written English skills for effective communication within the team.
* Basic salary of £500 per week for 45 hours of work, with opportunities for growth and development.
* All necessary work attire and protective equipment provided.
