Position Overview:
The role of Animal Cruelty Response Officer (In-House) is a full-time position involving active response to animal cruelty complaints, coordination with authorities, and on-ground intervention to ensure enforcement of animal protection laws.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Respond to and assess complaints of animal cruelty
* Coordinate with police, RWAs, and municipal authorities
* Facilitate rescue and emergency support for animals in distress
* Ensure enforcement of applicable animal protection laws
* Draft legal communications and documentation related to cruelty cases
Eligibility:
* Bachelor’s degree in Law / Social Work or related field
* 1–2 years of relevant experience (professional or voluntary)
* Knowledge of Indian animal welfare laws
* Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work independently with compassion in field situations
