Job Description
* Process and match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Ensure accurate coding of invoices within the accounting system.
* Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
* Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accounts are up to date.
* Resolve supplier queries efficiently and professionally.
* Maintain accurate records and assist in month-end reporting tasks.
* Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
* Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable.
* A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* A positive approach to problem-solving and query resolution.
* Experience using COINS.
