Within our Facilities Management division, the small works team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites.
Position
Reporting to the Head of FM (SE) The Project Manager will be responsible for the profitable planning, scheduling and delivery of all extra works and projects across 450 buildings within military estates across the South East, submitting prices and timeframes for delivery to build a small works pipeline as well as generating new works through ongoing condition reports and asset lifecycle failures.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Ensure BJF Group and the client’s SSOW, H&S policy and procedures are in place and followed. Such as accidents and near misses are recorded and reported in accordance with BJF Group and clients reporting system
Support to Head of Projects for incidental works and other new works streams
Work with the Head of projects and Commercial Manager to ensure the customer programme is achieved when required
Working with other members of the contract/Division/Business to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues
Responsible for ensuring all their projects meet the pricing Key Performance Indicators issued by the client
Liaison with client representatives and customer to ensure specification of works is correct and client user is updated throughout works
Maximise opportunities to use internal supply chain for delivering injected works
Requirements
Hold an industry recognised based qualification NVQ or similar in Mechanical trade
Demonstratable experience of CDM2015 regulations
Hold an industry recognised H&S management qualification (IOSH or SMSTS)
Experienced in High Volume Low Value project turnaround
Managerial experience at Supervisor level within technical and or hard services is essentia
