Teaching Assistant – level 1 (JEID REF: C0007) Fixed Term contract from 13 th April until 20 th July 2026 32.5 hours per week TTO hours Monday to Friday About the Role Stockingford Nursery School is a 100 place Local Authority Maintained Nursery School. Warwickshire Library are situated on the same site, as are Children and Family Centre Services run by Barnardo’s. Stockingford Nursery School includes provision for 2-3 year-olds in Little Nursery, and for 3-4 year-olds in Big Nursery. The ethos of our Nursery School is distinctive and we believe that every child is unique, with their own interests, learning styles and culture. We have an Early Years Teaching Assistant position available to join our friendly team in our nurturing environment for a fixed term contact from 13 th April 2026 to 20 th July 2026 You will provide support across the whole Nursery as part of the Nursery team. This post is for 32.5 hours per week, term time only and is Monday to Friday. A job share will be considered for the right candidate/s. Key Requirements You will ideally have NVQ level 2 in Early Years or equivalent qualification or working towards level 2 and have experience of working with children aged 2-4 years. Experience of working with children with individual needs (SEND) would be desirable. You will be required to understand and comply with our Nursery School policies and procedures especially relating to Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection, Code of Conduct and confidentiality. You must be prepared to undertake relevant training necessary for this position.
