We are working with a dealership based in Epsom, Surrey, who are in need of a Parts Supervisor.
PARTS SUPERVISOR
Main Duties
* Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimise stock levels while minimising excess inventory and carrying costs
* Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular Stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies
* Provide accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing parts transactions
* All Parts verification completed daily
* Ensure vehicle health checks are completed accurately to maintain the workshop efficiency
* Advise the Aftersales Manager of any backorder issues, using the parts escalation process to provide updates
* Supervise a team of parts staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
* Interact with customers to understand their parts requirements and provide assistance in locating and selecting the right parts
* Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, referring any unresolved problems to the After Sales Manager
* Strive to exceed customer expectations both internal and external by delivering exceptional service at all times.
Key Skills/Attributes Required
* Proven experience in automotive parts management, with a track record of achieving KPI targets
* Knowledge of the brand parts and systems
* Experience using Kerridge
* Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in supervising and motivating teams
* Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
Applicants will be expected to be immaculately attired as is befitting the brand and must hold a full Driving Licence.
The hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.00– 18.00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Total 45 hours per week. Saturday 08.00 – 13.00 on a rota basis will be required, paid as extra hour.
