Role: Clinical Operations Lead - Country Site Facing
Location: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, with site visits)
Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £339.27 - £376.97 (PAYE) OR £450 - £500 (UMB) per day
Contract: 6 months (inside IR35)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Operations Lead - Country Site Facing to join one of our longstanding global pharmaceutical clients on a 6-month contract basis inside IR35.
This is a site-facing role with a strong focus on study start-up and site activation within the UK, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in setting up clinical trials and working closely with UK sites, investigators and
stakeholders.

The Requirements:
* Strong experience in clinical trial start-up within the UK
* Proven experience working in a Country Site Facing or Clinical Operations Lead role
* Recent hands-on experience in study set-up and site activation
* Experience with contracts, budgeting and costing templates
* Strong understanding of UK clinical trial regulations and processes
* Experience working with R&D teams and cross-functional stakeholders
* Ability to manage relationships with clinical sites and investigators
* Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
The Role:
* Lead and support study start-up activities across UK clinical sites
* Act as the key point of contact for site-facing activities and engagement
* Drive site activation, feasibility and start-up timelines
* Manage and support contracts, budgets and costing processes
* Collaborate with internal R&D teams, CROs and external stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements and company processes
* Identify and resolve start-up challenges to ensure efficient study delivery
* Support ongoing communication and relationship management with sites
