Social Workers in our Through Age Wellbeing Services work to protect, advocate on behalf of and support children, young people and adults. It’s a professional, challenging yet rewarding job that needs dedicated people.
We are looking for individuals with a passion for working with and on behalf of the residents of Ceredigion and are offering the opportunity to earn while you learn and achieve a professional qualification.
Hosted by a social work team and under the supervision of qualified and experienced social workers you will learn to undertake social work tasks. Alongside this you will be sponsored to undertake a Degree in Social Work through our partnership with the Open University in Wales.
Post qualifying you will be expected to remain in employment with Ceredigion County Council for a minimum of three years, in return you will receive:
