Salary | £28,000- £30,000 per annum
Working Hours – 8:00- 16:30 (Monday- Friday)
MJ Quinn is a contractor for the provision of Mechanical, Electrical and Telecommunications services. We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Building Fabric Engineer to work within our Mechanical, Electrical & Building Maintenance Division on a permanent basis based in the North-West England, the sites will be predominantly based in the Merseyside area.
The Role
The Building Fabrication Engineer will be responsible for attending to planned and reactive maintenance across the estate comprising of multiple buildings within the public sector ensuring the buildings are always maintained to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
* This is a mobile role with travel around Merseyside and the surrounding areas were required.
* Carry out reactive maintenance to commercial buildings.
* Ensure Health and Safety procedures and practices are maintained on all contracts and that all works are carried out in accordance with the company procedures.
* Report to Contract Administrator, Supervisor, Helpdesk and Contract Manager
* Repairs on the following: Doors, Ceilings, Windows, Floors, and Walls.
* Produce quotations for defects or at the request of the client.
* Carry out building fabric installation works.
* Lock repairs and replacements.
* Planned maintenance on building fabric.
Qualifications/ Experience:
* Previous experience working in a facilities management environment is preferred.
* Maintenance experience will be essential.
* Installation experience
* Attention to detail.
* Worked in a similar role previously.
