Medways Education and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Division is committed to supporting all children and young people to learn, grow and achieve their potential in education. Our services cover school admissions, place planning, Medway Test, school transport, capital developments, high‑needs funding, support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans, early years funding and sufficiency, school improvement and effectiveness, inclusion and attendance. We are looking for highly driven and experienced professionals to join our IAG team, where you will contribute to our journey of improvement and shape service delivery to children, young people and families across Medway.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the dynamic IAG team, ensuring effective delivery of services and collaboration with providers, agencies and strategic networks.
* Apply inspirational leadership to drive positive outcomes for young people and support the overall vision of the Education and SEND Division.
* Build and maintain partnerships to enhance service provision for NEETS and unknowns.
Qualifications
* Level 4 qualification in careers guidance or an equivalent.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of statutory duties relating to NEETS and UNKNOWNs.
* Experience in leadership and partnership working across diverse agencies.
* Demonstrated awareness of inspirational leadership.
