Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Miller and Turner Operator to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a passion for precision engineering and a strong attention to detail.
Key Duties:
* Operate and set CNC milling and turning machines to produce components to exact specifications.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
* Set up tooling, fixtures, and rotary units for efficient machining processes.
* Carry out routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability.
* Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
* Collaborate with colleagues to assemble and inspect parts as required.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
* Support warehouse operations, including materials handling and inventory.
Requirements:
* Formal qualification in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
* Experience operating and setting CNC milling machines.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
* Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and rotary units.
* Understanding of precision measurement tools and quality control.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
