Southall Community Alliance is a charity working in Southall that is looking to recruit an experienced, part-time Human Rights Outreach Officer to oversee an exciting new 2.5 year project we are delivering to build understanding of human rights issues and law. The person we are looking for will be well organised, motivated and aware of the nuanced issues affecting diverse and disadvantaged communities. Their duties include arranging training, workshops and outreach visits to create awareness of human rights legislation and the practical impacts in areas with large, transient communities. The Outreach Worker will act as primary contact for the project and policy work and ensure good working relationships with a range of key contacts including policy and programmes partners.
