Second Charge Mortgage Advisor
Package:£30,000-£35,000 basic salary plus commission
Location:Salford
We’re exclusively partnered with an ambitious FCA-regulated secured loan brokerage that’s gaining real traction in the specialist lending market. With solid foundations and clear plans for growth in 2025, the business helps homeowners access secured loans, whether for debt consolidation, home improvements or other financial needs.
As part of this expansion, they’re looking to hire experienced Second Charge Mortgage Advisors to join the business at a pivotal stage. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking, growing brokerage, where you’ll have plenty of room to develop your career as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities for Second Charge Mortgage Advisor:
* Conduct comprehensive fact-finding to understand clients’ financial needs and determine their suitability for secured loans.
* Manage the loan application process from start to finish, ensuring smooth and efficient progression for clients.
* Provide clear, consistent updates to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring they are well-informed throughout the process.
* Work closely with internal teams and external partners, including lenders and solicitors, to streamline the loan process and ensure timely completions.
* Ensure all loans comply with FCA regulations, maintaining a high standard of integrity and professionalism in every client interaction.
* Stay informed about market trends, product updates, and industry changes to provide relevant advice and solutions to clients.
* Meet and exceed individual and team performance targets, contributing to the overall success and growth of the business.
Experience Required:
* 1+ year of experience as a Second Charge Mortgage Advisor.
* CeMAP Level 3 qualification (essential).
* A results-focused mindset, with a drive to meet targets and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
* Strong knowledge of second charge mortgage products, industry regulations, and lending processes.

Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* 9:00 AM - 17:00 PM
* No weekends
