Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional and specialty fertilizers, soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. We are seeking a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland region. The role involves developing long-term customer relationships, connecting with industry stakeholders, and reporting to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager. Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic and operational sales plans.
2. Enhancing technical presentation of products to meet regional needs.
3. Optimizing distribution, operations, and costs.
4. Managing relationships with trade customers, including product support, customer service, credit control, and debtor management.
5. Enforcing sales administration policies.
6. Managing and supporting the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the sales team to maximize sales and service.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Participating in company development through team involvement.
Qualifications and skills required include a third-level qualification in Agriculture or Business, proven sales management experience, technical knowledge of the agri-sector, strong commercial skills, leadership abilities, excellent communication, problem-solving, organization, and a full clean driver’s license.
