DhBorders Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrician on behalf of our client based in the Selkirk area.
You will be carrying out a range of electrical work across occupied and void properties, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
Responsibilities
1. General electrical maintenance and repairs
2. Inspection, testing, and fault finding
3. Installation of electrical systems, fixtures, and fittings
4. Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations (18th Edition)
5. Working in domestic and communal environments
6. Providing a professional service when interacting with residents and site contacts
Requirements
7. Qualified Electrician (SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
8. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification essential
9. Experience in inspection and testing (2391 or equivalent preferred)
10. Valid ECS/CSCS card
11. Full UK driving licence
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
13. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
