We’re working with a specialist secondary SEMH school in the Tameside area, and they are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
About the Role
You’ll be supporting students aged 11–16 with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them build the confidence, skills, and resilience needed for future success.

You’ll play a vital part in helping students access learning in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Essential Requirements
You must have:
* Experience supporting young people with SEMH and behavioural needs
* Full-time availability (no part‑time options available)
* A genuine commitment to helping young people overcome barriers
It’s a Bonus If You Also Have:
* Confidence managing challenging behaviour
* Experience in a UK school or care setting
* A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
