Lecturer in AAT Location: Middlesbrough Salary: £14,210- £20,937 per annum Type: Permanent Hours: Part Time ,18.5 Hours per week Annual Leave: 45 days holiday bank holidays Duties: As a Lecturer in AAT, you will: Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Provide hands-on and theoretical instruction in specific areas, e.g., Business and Finance Support students' academic and personal growth, helping them achieve their full potential. Develop and implement lesson plans that connect classroom learning to real-world applications. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the needs of all students. Support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing guidance and tailored support. Requirements: Hold a level 3 AAT qualification or above - Essential Are a qualified Teacher or willing to work towards Have GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent. Possess relevant professional experience in the field of accounting or finance, with a focus on AAT qualifications - Essential Have up-to-date knowledge and/or experience of teaching in one or more areas of AAT - Desirable. Understand current challenges and opportunities within the accounting sector that may influence curriculum development.
